Elizabeth Clift, Director of Children’s Ministry

Elizabeth joined the the staff at the Congregation at Duke Chapel in August of 2007 as the Interim Director of Children's Ministry. She holds a B.A. degree from Duke University with a major in Women's Studies and a minor in Literature. She is currently working on a dual Masters degree of a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Social Work from Duke University and the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Elizabeth began working for the Chapel during her undergraduate career in the nursery and still continues to direct the Duke Chapel Nursery. Her current job requirements as Director of Children's Ministry include administrative/planning work for worship, fellowship, service for the children, teaching Godly Play, working with other Congregation staff and members on varied events and programs.

Elizabeth is originally from the Outer Banks of North Carolina and currently lives in Durham with her two dogs Jasmine and Ginny.
