Mary Ann Manconi, Administrative Assistant/Graphic Design

In February 2005, Mary Ann Manconi joined the staff at the Congregation at Duke University Chapel as the Administrative Assistant. She holds a B.S. degree from Rider University where she majored in Secretarial Sciences. In her early career, Mary Ann worked for the State of New Jersey as an administrative assistant in Personnel until her relocation to Charlotte, NC in 1992. In 1999 her family relocated to Raleigh. It was then Mary Ann wanted to explore her creative side and attended an extensive two-year program at the School of Communication Arts where she graduated in 2001 with a diploma in multimedia design. After graduating, Mary Ann worked part-time for Graphic Works and volunteered to teach, design, and publish a newspaper for middle school children at the Franciscan Catholic School in Raleigh.

Mary Ann’s duties in the Congregation office are varied. She maintains all office duties, including managing the database and accounting systems; giving support to the Treasurer and Assistant Treasurer; and designing all material for the Congregation.

Mary Ann is married to John E. Manconi, has two children, Rachel and John Paul, and two Boston terrier dogs, Loki and Xena. She loves flowers, walking on the beach in winter, thunderstorms, designing, and being with her dogs
